Brief:
This project was supplied from Vintner for an interview task to design:The task involves three creative projects for Vintner.
Firstly, we need a fun and engaging Instagram post that adheres to the brand guidelines, uniquely captivating the audience while maintaining playfulness.
Secondly, a captivating single image or video advert is required to promote the recently introduced "OMG case" via paid social campaigns. The advert should be tailored to resonate with Vintner's key demographic and effectively showcase the 6-bottle case.
Lastly, we must develop an attractive email layout for Vintner's "Sunday Session" roundup email, encompassing an introduction, a Drinker section, and a Thinker section. The goal is to create an engaging and visually appealing email design that aligns with the brand's identity.
Creative:
Using Vintner's product imagery and my own artwork, I produced creatives using Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects.Instagram Post:
The objective of this carousel Instagram post is to celebrate the concept of wine 'kindred spirits.'
The post aims to connect with our audience by presenting relatable characters that we either personally identify with or know someone who embodies these traits. The content aims to be be fun, engaging, and interactive, showcasing a diverse range of personalities and their unique wine preferences, behavior, music tastes, and wine tips.
The primary message I wanted to convey is that at Vintner, we embrace individuality and diverse tastes. Our mission is to bring together amazing small wine producers from around the world and make their products accessible to everyone, regardless of their wine choices or pairing preferences. We want our audience to know that we appreciate and celebrate their quirks and unique tastes, and we are here to help them find their perfect wine match.
To add a playful touch, I included phrases such as "We don't judge your matches" and "Swipe to find your match," playfully referencing the popular theme of online dating platforms like Tinder. This will create a lighthearted and relatable connection with our audience while reinforcing the message of inclusivity and celebration of individuality.
Paid Social Media Advert: Youtube video.
The objective of this animation is to generate buzz around the "OMG case" and appeal to the target demographic through a personal touch.
The idea offers a sneak peek of two friends enjoying their "OMG case" and expressing their thoughts and emotions through text.
The playful approach captivates viewers' attention and encourages them to watch and read like a third party, creating curiosity about the much-talked-about OMG case.
The animation adds depth to the promotional advert, engaging Instagram users and driving traffic to Vintner's page and website. Overall, it's an enticing and fun way to create excitement and anticipation for the OMG case among the target audience.
Email Design:
The third task included designing a newsletter tailred to an already interested audience. For Vintner's "Sunday Sessions". To make the design relatable and encourage user-generated content, I incorporated social media-generated imagery. Additionally, I created an alternative design using a sofa image to capture the authentic "Sunday vibes" - a perfect time to relax with a glass of wine and prepare for the week ahead.
In the design, I thoughtfully broke up the copy with eye-catching hero images and strategically placed buttons that direct users to external resources.
I designed the footer based on the artwork used in the paid social media advert for the OMG wine case to add a cohesive campaign relationship.
The overall email is designed to captivate readers with its visually appealing imagery and encourage interaction, making it an enjoyable and informative experience for Vintner's audience.
