Go Green Taxis is an award-winning eco-friendly taxi service focused on reducing environmental impact while providing low fixed prices.
Brief:
Assist Go Green Taxis in all aspects of their operations by crafting a diverse set of design materials to enhance customer engagement and elevate brand awareness. Ensure the brand remains relevant by staying current with trends and industry activities, such as utilising social media channels to foster meaningful interactions and devise targeted campaigns to attract new and existing markets.Creative:
Roundabouts:
Over 20 roundabout designs were strategically created throughout Didcot and nearby areas. These eye-catching signs featured engaging messages, information, the brand ethos, and raising brand awareness in local areas.
The fleet:
With a fleet of more than 40 eco-friendly vehicles spanning various years, the brand development was visually represented across the vehicles; examples would be old numbers, old logos etc. The primary goal was establishing a consistent visual identity and encouraging customers to make app bookings rather than phone calls.
To achieve this, by developing an updated visual guideline that removed telephone numbers from the vehicle branding. This change allowed greater flexibility when serving new areas and reinforced the "Download our App" message for bookings. This created a neutral and effective message and aligned with the business objective of reducing call centre staff by implementing an automatic booking system.
Newbury HQ:
Utilising prime advertising space on the office windows in the Newbury city centre, I created a variety of window vinyl that showcased airport transfer prices, social media, and a list of services. This increased brand visibility and local recognition.
Printed Material:
As the first in-house designer, I was presented with a range of printed materials that effectively contained a mixture of branding and styling. I aimed to increase white space and easy-to-digest content, which would be used as mailed flyers to our customer bases to promote campaigns and seasonal promos.
Award-winning:
Proudly recognised with the Bronze Marketing Award in 2017, we celebrated our achievements as a local and regional taxi company.
Social Media:
With a strong presence on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, I created engaging content, competitions, and campaigns, resulting in a 47% increase in followers within 12 months.
Merchandise:
Emulating the icon Sports Direct mug, we provided exclusive cups to customers, reinforcing our brand presence and engagement. We also designed cups for local businesses which we delivered with free biscuits for a warm welcome and a lasting impression.
Go Green Taxis 2.0:
We offered custom discount codes for booking fares to promote the new app and encourage customer downloads. The app's welcome screen and design were updated for a vibrant and recognisable look.
Marketing:
Business cards, flyers, and digital assets were revamped to promote the new app and the discount. These materials were strategically placed at over 50 locations to increase app adoption.
Marketing material:
I updated all marketing materials, and we thought of new ways of applying this new message. This included roundabouts, a new promotional mug and a fridge magnet that served as home reminders for customers.
By implementing these creative strategies and improvements, Go Green Taxis aimed to enhance customer engagement, expand its reach, and reinforce its commitment to eco-friendly transportation.
