Brief:


Create and support businesses with a range of marketing and graphic design support. Such outcomes would include social media creative, printed marketing materials, and packaging designs for new and existing products. FUEL10k is a UK-based B-Corp breakfast brand providing protein-infused products.

Creative:


Packaging:
I developed and adapted the new packaging style to work on various products. I applied this across Muffin Pots, Oat Bars, Oat Cookies and their no.1 selling product, Milk Drinks. I went beyond 'applying' designs but actively encouraged a review on packaging best practices; this included ensuring claims are best illustrated and clear to consumers to boost sales and editing the brand story to reflect the product.

In addition to focusing on product packaging, I wanted to ensure that our customers' experience of receiving products through our website is truly memorable. To achieve this, we embarked on a journey to develop creative delivery boxes beyond just unconsidered functional.

These delivery boxes feature a mixture of brand messages and branding elements, creating a unique unboxing experience for our customers.

The aim was to leave a lasting impression and foster a stronger emotional connection with the brand. Moreover, I incorporated reusable tips on the delivery boxes and used paper tape to encouraging customers to recycle or repurpose the packaging in creative ways. By doing so, we contribute to sustainability efforts and reinforce our commitment to environmental responsibility.

By combining thoughtful design, brand messaging, and eco-conscious initiatives, we strive to make every step of our customer's journey, from placing an order to receiving the package, a delightful and memorable experience.

Marketing Assets:
I successfully managed and executed various aspects of digital and print marketing outcomes, optimizing web content, creating compelling paid marketing assets, and developing engaging GIFs to enhance brand visibility and drive audience engagement.

Packaging Design:
The most prominent difference between the old and new branding is the 'highlighter effect' behind the product. It helps announces the range on the shelf and has product pull-outs such as 'high fibre' complimenting the cameo, a smaller logo stripped back with large information and a better balance of the hierarchy.

I translated these points in the application to the Breakfast Drinks by changing the product name from 'Protein Breakfast – Milk Drink' to Breakfast Drink. This design concept as also applied across other products including Oat Cookies, Poridge Pots and Oat Bars (incuding SRPs and outter boxes). 

Social Media - IG Carousel:
The Complete Meal is a complete meal replacement for busy people. Offering a range of nutritional benefits, 100% of a range of Vitamins, Protein & Carbohydrates. This piece is based on the saying 'giving 110%. The product boasts 100% of a range of vitamins, so I created the wording, 'We put in 100%, the other 10% is you!' this is to create a sense of achievement and motivation. With the right fuel, you can achieve more!

I produced this Instagram Carousel to showcase the benefits of the product. The design principle creates fluidity across panels by bleeding assets into each other, encouraging interactivity to discover more about the product, ending on the CTA.

Social Media - IG Story Animation:
To encourage and develop product awareness of the new Complete Meal product, I created the carousel visual into an animation for the Instagram Stories feature. Promoting the benefits and product as an advertising platform with smooth transitions and application.

Social Media - GIF:
I designed a range of GIFs, this example with text and arrows annotating the Chocolate Porridge's nutrition, taste, ingredients and benefits. This promotes the product in a digestible and informative method. The background and texture are aligned to the current branding essence as used in the website and to add depth to digital creation.

Web Banner:
For the whole month of February, Fuel has partnered with FareShare, a food redistribution charity. For every pot they sell, they will also donate a portion of porridge to someone in need. To encourage sales across suppliers, I implemented this campaign to encourage sales and awareness to users shopping with Ocado. Three designs were proposed for use.
