BOL Foods is a revolutionary challenger food brand bringing 100% plant-based foods to all, focusing on taste and nutrition. The range is dairy-free, meat-free and promises zero nasties throughout the Dinner Boxes, Veg Pots, Soups and Salad Jars.

Brief:

The BOL brand is growing enormously as a start-up company; time is of the essence. I was brought into the incredible team to contribute and create a range of assets across various channels to help bring BOL to the masses.

Creative:


General:
Being the sole in-house designer for three months and working with an external senior designer, I helped create new recipes, internal communications, image editing, and multiple supermarket sales decks to promote the range to such chains as Costa Coffee, Tesco and Sainsbury's.

Social:
With a strong social media background, I helped shape the social channels across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

As the creative lead, I spearhead the aesthetic direction of the social feeds, curating a visually captivating experience. This involves capturing compelling photos of our latest product ranges, organizing and executing photoshoots, skillfully editing images and creating GIFs. Staying up-to-date on the latest trends was paramount.

Examples include "Katsu Curry & Chill", a take on Netflix and Chill, creating the relatability factor; they have one less thing to decide...as dinner for one, sorted!

Digital:
BOL foods are available at many high street retailers and online, such as Ocado. I created a range of digital assets for the Shopmium App, their website and Ocado, including promotional adverts, web banners and product cameos.

Throughout my duration at BOL, I actively participated in the brand's visual redesign process. Embracing the new stylistic approach, I was responsible for crafting all product visuals, seamlessly integrating them with photography to facilitate swift updates when needed. These versatile images are utilized across various retailers and websites, contributing to a cohesive and impactful brand presence.

Print:
Amidst the exhilarating phase of a brand refresh, I played a pivotal role in editing and collaborating on the new packaging design. Additionally, I created a captivating flyer for the Vevolution festival and developed point-of-sale (POS) materials for WHSmith.
